I have a small tag of skin at the back of my anus, on the edge of the sphincter. I have had it as long as I can remember. It has no feeling in it and it is about half a centimetre long. I don't suffer from piles and it causes little problems, however it has definitely grown over the years and sometimes makes toilet hygiene difficult. I have decided I would like it removed, can I use pile cream to shrink it, or do I have to have it cut off?
