Shipping

I live in a rural area and only make it to the Post Office once per week. Orders ship within 7-10 business days after purchase. ** This does not apply to Made to Order or Preorder pieces, please see the description under those pieces for the information on when they will ship. Orders with those will ship when that piece is made. **

Please note: Once your package leaves my hands and is in the hands of the shipping carrier (USPS), I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Darlin' Designs is a small business solely run by one person and unfortunately cannot afford to replace items lost by shipping carriers. That being said, please reach out if there is a typo in your shipping address and I'll correct it if I'm still in possession of the item. 

If your package is lost or stolen in transit please contact your local Postal Office. They will assist you in recovering or refunding you for the lost package. Please contact sydney.darlindesigns@gmail.com with any questions!

Refund policy

My goal is for you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you receive an item that is damaged in transit, please message me within 7 days of receiving your item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Due to the custom nature of my products, All Sales Are Final. I am unable to accept returns or exchanges due to a change of heart or customer sizing errors. Please be confident in your ring size before purchasing, as refunds will not be given due to an incorrect size. I have a ring sizing tool available for purchase or any local jeweler will be able to tell you your ring size.

Although I do not typically accept returns, please don't hesitate to contact me at sydney.darlindesigns@gmail.com if you have an issue or are unhappy with a piece. I put my heart and soul into every one of my pieces and want to ensure that each and every customer is completely satisfied with their purchase. 

Also please note due to the handmade nature of my pieces, each piece is unique and full of character. All of my pieces are made from .925 sterling and fine silver. Variations in stone and silver design are to be expected. Everything I make is crafted by hand and not by a machine.

How can I purchase one of your pieces?

All of my pieces are crafted carefully and slowly not to rush any detail. You can find dates for each collection release on my website or check out my Instagram @_Darlin_Designs_ for more details plus sneak peaks of what I am working on!

When the release date and time comes, the website will be restocked with a new collection of pieces available for purchase. All the items in a shop update will be previewed on my Instagram story in the days leading up to the release date.

Each collection is small batch and one-of-a-kind so I recommend setting an alarm and hopping right on when the collection goes live so that you don't miss the opportunity to make a purchase.

How do I care for my sterling silver and stones?

Please note that handmade, artisan jewelry is fragile and delicate and needs to be properly taken care of. It is extremely important that you remove your jewelry before showering, washing dishes, swimming, applying lotions/perfumes, etc. 

Sterling silver will naturally tarnish over time. When the surface layer of your jewelry oxidizes, it will start to look dull and slightly discolored. It is extremely important to store your pieces in a dry, enclosed area to slow this process. I recommend storing your jewelry in an air tight, anti-tarnish bag that you can purchase from Amazon or if you prefer to store the finished pieces in a jewelry box you can also purchase anti-tarnish strips to throw in the box as an extra level of protection.

If your piece has started to tarnish, you can simply give it a gentle wipe with the jewelry polishing cloth provided to you with your purchase! I will also include a Jewelry Care Card with every order that has instructions on how to care for your sterling silver piece. 

All of the stones I use are natural and may have an uneven shape or texture, they aren't "perfect" but that is what makes each piece unique. Please note that the stones are delicate and should be treated as such. Turquoise is a very porous and absorptive precious stone. When a turquoise stone is exposed to water, oils and other chemicals it soaks them up like a sponge. Water and oil can cause the stone to actually change color.

Avoid dropping or banging your precious stone pieces as they can crack or break. Darlin' Designs accepts no liability for broken stones or damage goods caused by customer mishandling or improper care. 

"You Call It"

The"You call it" pieces are unfinished. What this means is I haven't set the stone so it can be customized just for you! So whether you are a ring type or a necklace type person these "you call it" pieces can be your next favorite piece of jewelry!

How it works: You will purchase your favorite stone in its setting (as it appears in the photos) then we will work together to create your perfect necklace or ring! I will have various options for ring bands in whatever size you would like or chains up to 20 inches in length.
